scribble backpiece

Fused black plastic backpiece.  Another example of the scribble/doodle idea.  We ideally wanted it to look like a tattoo drawn onto the body.

6a00e5523125aa8834010536f33ea9970b-800wiKarl Lagerfeld has removed any trace of “bling” from the latest Chanel couture show, instead showing creations in pure white, with beautiful headpieces created by Tokyo based milliner Kamo-  we noticed images on another bloggers site http://www.bloomacious.com/bloomacious/2009/01/chanelfall09.html and felt they were so inspirational.  Kamo has created amazing pieces using paper.  The detail is amazing.  Note to self: must research origami techniques.  Amazing!

Just a quick post! Lovely red leather scraps from a project we were working on a long time ago-  the detail is maybe not too clear in the photo but one of the discs is suede.  The metal base created from bottletops we bashed flat.

We’ve gone hat crazy! On our recent trip to Dublin we came across some beautiful headpieces and realised that we’d never considered designing any! So, eager to rectify this we got to work immediately…

plastic bag dress

We spent yesterday afternoon creating our updated version of the old plastic bin liner dress!  Our bag of choice a more spring like mint green.  We heat fused the bags to create the lacey effect we like so much and stitched together.  Oh to be slimmer and younger than I am, I would love to wear this! Just playing around with photos from the jewellery shoot and actually liked this one, although the black and white loses the gorgeous pink!

 

 

 

Rock Chic!

This neckpiece is made from melted electric cable.  On the shoot the model decided to give it a rock chick vibe, we thought it worked well.  Next time we should organise a Harley!

A more reserved version of the bubble neckpiece. We found a selection of neon shower puffs, which looked quite funky. These pieces are a bit more wearable, let us know what you think…
