bottletops

Just a quick post! Lovely red leather scraps from a project we were working on a long time ago-  the detail is maybe not too clear in the photo but one of the discs is suede.  The metal base created from bottletops we bashed flat.

plastic bag dress

We spent yesterday afternoon creating our updated version of the old plastic bin liner dress!  Our bag of choice a more spring like mint green.  We heat fused the bags to create the lacey effect we like so much and stitched together.  Oh to be slimmer and younger than I am, I would love to wear this! Rock Chic!

This neckpiece is made from melted electric cable.  On the shoot the model decided to give it a rock chick vibe, we thought it worked well.  Next time we should organise a Harley!

Pink plastic neckpiece

This is the pink plastic neckpiece we previously posted.  Lynette modelled the jewellery beautifully.  More photos to follow….

A more reserved version of the bubble neckpiece. We found a selection of neon shower puffs, which looked quite funky. These pieces are a bit more wearable, let us know what you think…

Spoons Necklace

Another piece made from the disposable plastic spoons. We decided to string them this time using nylon thread. For this piece we broke off the stems and just used the rounded ‘spoon’ end which was then then heated. Read the rest of this entry »

Another solution to the teenage chair brief. This design focused on the way teenagers sit. They slouch, mount and lie on furniture so it had to offer more than one sitting position.
