plastic bag dress

We spent yesterday afternoon creating our updated version of the old plastic bin liner dress!  Our bag of choice a more spring like mint green.  We heat fused the bags to create the lacey effect we like so much and stitched together.  Oh to be slimmer and younger than I am, I would love to wear this! Spoons Necklace

Another piece made from the disposable plastic spoons. We decided to string them this time using nylon thread. For this piece we broke off the stems and just used the rounded ‘spoon’ end which was then then heated. Read the rest of this entry »

Tangle Chair

The brief for this project was to design a chair for a teenager using free materials. It was important that the final piece was something that a young person would want to have in their room, and it had to be pretty robust too! Pin Detail
