Spikes are having a bit of a moment.  We keep spotting them out and about and on some of the key fashion blogs. We spotted this image on the fantastic Jak & Jil blog.  http://jakandjil.com/blog/ Our spikey ring would work well, fashion weaponry!

Fused black plastic backpiece.  Another example of the scribble/doodle idea.  We ideally wanted it to look like a tattoo drawn onto the body.

Just a quick post! Lovely red leather scraps from a project we were working on a long time ago-  the detail is maybe not too clear in the photo but one of the discs is suede.  The metal base created from bottletops we bashed flat.

We’ve gone hat crazy! On our recent trip to Dublin we came across some beautiful headpieces and realised that we’d never considered designing any! So, eager to rectify this we got to work immediately…

This headpiece was constructed from wooden kebab skewers and finished with a gorgeous red lacquer. Its extremely lightweight, which means that its comfortable enough to wear all day if you wanted! It simply clips onto the hair and can be worn to the side, front or back.

We love the negative space created by the material, and the vivid colour makes this a very striking piece which is guaranteed to get you noticed.

We spent yesterday afternoon creating our updated version of the old plastic bin liner dress!  Our bag of choice a more spring like mint green.  We heat fused the bags to create the lacey effect we like so much and stitched together.  Oh to be slimmer and younger than I am, I would love to wear this!

Each little plastic bag became a disc when heat fused so the overall dress has a lovely texture.

Just playing around with photos from the jewellery shoot and actually liked this one, although the black and white loses the gorgeous pink!
